Cegep Champlain - St. Lawrence has a mid-term operation in both the Fall and Winter semesters. All students receive mid-term grades for the courses in which they are registered.
Mid-term grades are not official grades and are meant to give students an indication of their academic progress to date. Teachers also declare absences on this in-house transcript which is prepared and signed by the Dean of Students and Academic Services. Students failing half or more of their courses are required to meet with the AcademicAdvisor.
Grades are printed and distributed locally approximately three working days after the grades are submitted by the teachers. For more precise dates, consult the academic calendar. Grades may be consulted as they are entered on My St. Lawrence File located on our home page. Go to the bottom left-hand side of the screen, under Short-Cuts.
In the Fall semester, parents are invited to a Parents’ Night. This is an opportunity for parents to meet St. Lawrence faculty and staff. Parents will receive a formal invitation from the Campus Director in the weeks prior to the event. All are welcome!
